Tea Poldervaart

Tea has been working as an Actor/Puppeteer over the past seven years, beginning with ‘Blood and Bone’ in 2014 (various single hand puppets) at the Vault Festival. Since then he has expanded his skills to include Bunraku, rod and object manipulation.  Tea often works in devised and collaborative work, this can be seen in Rudolf at the Birmingham Mac which was devised by the cast alongside Director Anna Girvan and Writer Mike Akers puppeteering various animals found in the Zoo. He went on to work with puppet Director Laura Cubbit again on Dinosaur World Live operating various dinosaurs with teams of up to four puppeteers. Tea is passionate about bringing joy to families through Puppetry and fun storytelling.
