Abigail Matthews

Abigail trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and recently finished performing in Robin Hood at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings. In 2021, she performed in The Miracle Worker at The Cramphorn Theatre, Chelmsford, has been touring the UK with Baby Bear (a piece she helped develop with Moon On A Stick Theatre Company) and singing with close- harmony vintage band ‘Elle and the Pocket Belles’.

Other notable work includes; The Butterfly Lion at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester, Goodnight Mister Tom in the West End at the Duke of York’s, The White Feather at the Union Theatre, Bye Bye Birdie at Ye Olde Rose and Crown, Citizen Squid- Lyric Hammersmith, War Horse in the West End at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, A Winter’s Tale & The Hired Man at the Landor Theatre, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the 360 ° Theatre Kensington Gardens and Evita UK & European Tour. She has taken part in multiple research and development projects, namely with the National Theatre Studio, Jermyn Street, Polka Theatre and Graeae. She has performed in multiple pantomimes and cabarets, and also works as a voice-over artist.
